Examining three science-fiction novels from the "Pour lire avec toi" collection, Claire le Brun defines their underlying intertextual network. The pervasive Utopian imagery, and the heavy influence of children's classics such as Collodi's Pinocchio, hint at the existence of a subgenre--the technological fairy tale--which, in the long run, could give new life to traditional fairy tales.
