Leslie McGrath has an MLS (1984) and a PhD (2005) from the Faculty of Information Studies, in the
collaborative program in Book History and Print Culture, University of Toronto. She has worked at Toronto
Public Library since 1985, and became the head of TPL’s Osborne Collection of Early Children’s Books in
1995.
